Available in two sizes, the round Telu pouf can be used as an extra seat or as a footrest in your living room. Due to its low height, it is also very suitable for children, guaranteeing cosy hours of reading pleasure.
It is made of raffia fibres, patiently woven by experienced artisans using their hands and fine needles, and is filled with cotton and coconut fibres. The production process of the pouf takes a very long time due to its large surface area and fine material, but it is certainly worth the wait with such an incredibly comfortable and soft result.

Main material: Raffia
Our poufs are made from plant fibres. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.
Raffia (Corypha utan) occurs naturally in the steppe and forest areas of Southeast Asia. Approximately every two years, the plant renews its leaves and sheds the old ones, which are then collected by humans, dried in the sun for several days to weeks and, depending on the desired degree of browning, processed into wickerwork. The relative rarity and the higher processing effort make this material slightly more expensive compared to other plant fibres. Although it is hardly known in Europe, the material has proven itself in Southeast Asia among the local population in the form of all kinds of everyday utensils and is very popular due to its pleasantly soft yet robust nature.

We ensure all this through regular on-site visits and permanent personal contact with the companies.
